We have an exciting vacancy within a large UK print group for an Account Manager working on a new and prestigious account, based in Hampshire. You will work as part of a dedicated team building and maintaining client relationships by ensuring that regular meetings are held with clients and that a sound understanding of individual client needs are met. You would understand, promote and apply the Group's corporate values and cross sell where possible. You will take ownership for each project from order to invoice payment. Part of the role is to actively pursue new business on all accounts, promoting the whole group offering. You will also visit client/agency taking POS and Print briefs in person, also picking up artwork for large promotions in a face to face meeting when required.
Having a keen interest in PS3, Wii, Xbox, DSi, PSP and PC gaming would be a massive advantage.
You will work as part of the client services team and your duties will include:
• Key contact for all briefs.
• Develop excellent relationship with the client's agencies and other third party suppliers.
• Build and maintain client relationships by ensuring that regular meetings are held with clients and that a sound understanding of individual client needs are met.
• To understand, promote and apply the Group's corporate values and cross sell where possible.
• Take ownership for each project from order to invoice payment.
• Assist the Account Director in preparing and updating account plans for key clients.
• Assist the Account Director in preparing management information for reporting.
• To monitor key KPIs, and flag any fails and address the relevant issues.
• Actively pursue new business on the account, promoting the whole Group offering.
• Visit agency taking briefs in person, also picking up artwork for large promotions in a face to face meeting when required.
• Advise client of best way to produce work, utilising the internal departmental skills.
• Develop, trial and implement new ideas working with creative services where needed.
• Ensure the expertise within the business is utilised to deliver the clients needs in the most cost effective and efficient process.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills and will have Print & POS experience ideally within a retail environment.
The individual needs to be dynamic and enthusiastic and have a genuine passion to deliver innovative solutions for the customer and the company.
