Account Manager - POS - Edinburgh

We have an exciting new position of Account Manager based onsite at a large retail company in Edinburgh. We are looking for candidates who can show they have experience within a POS and Print environment.
You will work as part of a team and your duties will include:
• Ensuring contractual service and quality levels (SLA's & KPI's) are met or exceeded at all times.
• Build and maintain relationships with the relevant Product Owners.
• Monitor and maintain 24hr turnaround time in response to agreed estimate turnaround etc in line with SLA's and KPI's.
• Ensure accurate, detailed and timely preparation of documentation as required i.e. schedules, whilst maintaining up to date records in DNA.
• Enter detailed and accurate briefs onto DNA, obtain accurate quotes, place approved orders, confirm acknowledgement etc in line with the Ways of Working document.
• Ensure proofs, dummies, file copies, marketing allocation matrix and completion reports are issued in line with the agreed CPA's, Ways of Working Documentation and Process Maps.
• Manage the production putting forward ideas for improvement, recommendations and proposing cost saving initiatives.
• Continue to improve knowledge of the customer, their products and improve commercial overview.
• Ensure the Customer Service Director is kept fully informed of key issues and risks as soon as possible.
• Liaise with stakeholders, marketeers, creative agencies, data suppliers, production sites and other associated suppliers to manage the process from brief to delivery. Take detailed notes at meetings and distribute as appropriate.
• Monitor and help to resolve issues during the print process from brief to delivery quickly and efficiently, in coordination with the Customer Service Director ensuring timely feedback and efficient resolution.
• Support and work closely with the Customer Service Director, on site Account Managers, IT, Finance, Site Teams and Retail Teams as required.
• Provide a consistent approach to the provision of management information by print category and business unit to the client.
• Liaise with stakeholders and sites to ensure delivery on time to correct standard and specifications, followed by accurate timely paperwork / email confirmation.
The ideal candidate will possess:
o Customer friendly and focused
o Good understanding of the Print and POS production process
o Comprehensive understanding of Point of Sale (POS)
o Organised and have a keen eye for detail
o Ability to follow methodology and understand client DP briefs
o Confident with good communication and interpretation skills
o Proficient computer skills (Microsoft excel essential) and the willingness to carry out administrative duties and more complex challenges
o Cost and client focused with the ability to work to tight deadlines
o Works well alone or as part of a team with a desire to show initiative
o Understanding of VAT
o Onsite experience beneficial but not essential
