Senior Packaging Development Project Manager

One of the UK's leading dairy suppliers who employ over 3000 people across the UK are going through a major expansion plan and have the opportunity available for a Senior Packaging Development Project Manager.

You will be responsible for defining the most suitable next generation packaging for the companies products. You will engage with key suppliers to assess the merits of different offerings such as bottle, carton etc.. You will assess packaging and filling options and benchmark key requirements considering innovations, functionality, environment, performance, quality, design and the consumers needs.

You will have a background in packaging ideally Food or Drink, but we would consider FMCG as well. You will have been in a Packaging Innovation role and be directly or indirectly involved in packaging development. You will need strong Project Management skills and be an expert in in defining new processes. The successful candidate will have a creative mind, be a good man manager and be able to bring new ideas and knowledge in to this role. You will also have been at the forefront of cost reductions and successfully delivered cost savings.
